Visit  Kelantan

I am sure many of us living on the west coast have not visited the beautiful east coast of Peninsular .Malaysia. If one does have a chance, he will find it a different kind of holiday  experience, a holiday spent among the beauties of nature.
First, there are the hundreds of miles of unspoilt sandy beaches, white and clean with theopen blue sea greeting the visitors. Then, there is the lush, tropical greenery, the tall coconut palms swaying gracefully in the breeze and charming rural villages where life is unhurried, leisurely and peaceful. One is attracted by the riot of the brilliant colors of the fruits and other foodstuffs at the market place, with busy Kelantanese selling their wares.`Batik' and 'songket' are famous local products and tourists will not leave the place without buying a few of these pieces as souvenirs.
Kelantanese cottage industries are of great variety. You can find silversmiths at work on beautiful Kelantan jewellery or skilful craftsmen and women folk producing 'batik sarungs' and the brilliant eye-catching 'kain songket'. Some men are busy engaged in the making of giant kites or 'wau' which are of various shapes and colors. Kite-flying is an important pastime in Kelantan, apart from top-spinning.
Lastly, the beautiful beach of Pantai Cinta Berahi is worth a visit, for you will see the beach fringed with groves of casuarina trees. A trip to Pasir Putih, a scenic spot that abounds with waterfalls and fresh water springs is an unforgettable experience. Life here is totally unhurried and relaxing, making it a memorable holiday for you

My Family's Outing at Gunung STONG
A couple weeks ago, my family and I went for an outing to Gunung Stong waterfall. The trip took us about an hour to reach our destination. It was a pleasant journey as we saw endless layouts of breathtaking terrain along the way.
The waterfall sparkled during that sultry day and the freshness of the air made the place magical. The mesmerizing scene of cascading waterfall made my siblings and I jumped into excitements as we changed into our swimming trunks. We dived into the crystal clear water with haste. The chilly water touched our nerves in a very serene way.
We were swimming and splashing water towards each other, laughter was bursting through the refreshing air, while others were seen to be netting some fishes. The overall experience was soothing to the ears and mind to listen the cascading waterfall splashed the cool water beneath. The paradise-like place was not a miss for me to take pictures. So, we took a family photo to keep the memorable day as a souvenir.
Our stomach began rumbling and roaring like a monster after some time in the water. My mother then spread the mat on the ground and began displaying food on it. She prepared many scrumptious delicacies for us to grab a bite. My father also helped her with arranging the food. My little brother and sister were the first to dig in. We finished the food as if we were fasting the whole time. Everyone was satisfied thus we packed our stuff and reached home before dusk.

The family outing at the waterfall was simply an example of how our family members bond and loosen up during our free time. All of us should keep a close-knitted relationship family because blood is thicker than water. There are plenty other ways of achieving it such as cooking together, cleaning the house together, visiting relatives who are close to our hearts, or even going to the park for basking or going to the movies. Therefore, healthy relationships among family can be accomplished for a healthier emotional growth.

Every people think that money is important for them, all of us work hard to hope can get more and more money. The money is wont enough in our daily life. We should save the money that we have but not use all of it. If we have sick, we should need money to but medicine or see doctor. If we do not have money, we will can't get a treatment and we will get die or else. In this essay, this essay will discuss about the important of saving money.

First and foremost, saving money can help us to get money when we need money urgently. For example, when our family need money to have some medical treatment, we can take out our money to help them for their medical treatment. So, we do not need to borrow money from anywhere from people, we can use the money that we save to solve the problem.

In addition, we should save money for our future. When we need to marry, we should need a lot money. If we do not have money, no girl will like to marry us. So, we should need to save money. After we marry, we will need to buy car and house. If we have save money, we would have money to buy it. So, we will not be troublesome when we need to buy. After we marry, we would have our children. We will need many money for our children. We need money for the milk, fees and many more. When they go study, we will need to pay for their fees, tuition and their books. So, saving money is important for our future
.
Furthermore, we save money can use to go for travel. After we had hardworking earn money and busy for the life everyday, we should have to relax ourselves such as travel. If we have save money every month, we will have money to go travel. We can bring our family to go for travel and make the relationship to be closer. So, we can know more about our family and can live happily. We can relax ourselves after our hard work. So, if we save money, we can go travel and relax ourselves. There is another benefit of saving money.

Besidessaving money can let us do not use our parents' money. We are adult already, So, we must save money and do not take money from parents anymore. Although we are studying now, we can try not to take money from them. Not only like that, we can save some money as we can to buy some present for our parents when their birthday. They will feel very happy if they get present from us. So, saving money can help us to let them happy.

In conclusion, saving money bring many benefit to us. So, we should save money to let us have money to use when we need. If everybody know to save money, then we can decrease the beggar too.

How to Choose Friends Wisely
Think you don't get to just choose who you're friends with? Absolutely not. You get just as much say who your friends are as they do. Making friends is one thing, but choosing who your friends are is incredibly important because your friends are your guides in life as well as the people who help define who you are. In some ways, they are family. There are some friends who are closer to you than others, but who you choose to share important parts of your life with matters.

A friend that is honest is one of the best friends you can have. Trust and honesty are cornerstones in any relationship. Choosing a friend who can tell you how it is will be something you'll appreciate greatly (albeit, you may not always appreciate it in that particular moment, you'll look back on it and appreciate it later...really). An honest friend will keep you from walking out of the house wearing that awful green shirt or tell you that the girl you're going to ask out isn't interested. They're supportive in their honesty, and you should choose someone you know will not lie.

Friends need to laugh together. We like our good times in life, and sometimes the best times come from our own odd character traits. Choose a friend who gets those quirks and can laugh with you rather than at you. After all, if you choose a friend who gets your odd sense of humor, it's likely they have one, too. Look for someone who will laugh with you at a look or a glance. Those people will be some of your best friends. They don't put you down for the things that make you different, they embrace them!

It's so easy for us to be good friends in the fun times. There's all kinds of laughter and joyful moments, and those times make relationships easy. But who are the people who stand by you when times turn tough? Those are your true friends. Those are the people that get that life doesn't always go the way we plan. It's much harder to stand by someone that's having a tough time, so choosing a friend that is strong enough to be the shoulder to cry on or hold your hand when it's needed is a wise choice.

We've all had friends that only want things from us, but they never seem willing to give to us when we need it. Relationships involve compromise. Sometimes you're going to do what your friend wants to do, even though it's not quite your thing, and sometimes she is going to do what you want to do, even though it's not quite their thing. When a relationship is one-sided, we just end up feeling resentful and angry. It's not healthy. Choose a friend with whom you feel a balance of give and take.

Your faith is important to you, so why choose a friend who puts it down at every chance they get? If your friends are pulling you away from God, are they really your friends? Not likely. A true friend, whether they believe what you do or not, will support your choice to be a Christian. It tends to be why Christians often choose other Christian friends because they want to be with people that help them stay on a Christian path.

While friendship is full of compromise, it helps if you choose friends who share a lot of your interests. It gives you things to talk about or share. It makes deciding on stuff to do easier. You don't have to choose a friend who likes every single little thing you do, but you should have some shared interests.

How To Improve Your English
English is now the international language .So it is very important to learn English well. We should study English in the correct way, so that we can make the most of the time we spend learning English. Discovering ways to improve their English is a problem which baffles many students. There are three ways to improve English

First of all, We have to learn many English words and study English grammarin great detail. Reading is the best way to increase vocabularies and learn how  to avoid making grammar errors. If we read magazines written in English, regular reading will make it easier for us to remember the many new words we come across.Having a dictionary is just like having a teacher close at hand. We need to use a dictionary to look up those words that we don't know. It makes reading a very enjoyable pastime.

Secondly, besides learning to read English, we must learn to understand  spoken English, and practice speaking. Try listen to radio stations, if at first you don't understand, keep listening and maintain a regular habit of  listening to radio stations. Repeat after the broadcast and learn how to pronounce correctly and frequently.

Thirdly, we should try to talk with Americans, find native English-speaking people who will give you conversation practice. Don't be afraid to speak ,afraid to be laughed at. If we never learn to take risks to open mouths, it will be impossible to improve speaking skills. There is no reason to be ashamed of speaking poor English. If we can learn from our mistakes, failure can become part of our success. In fact, the secret of success may come from failure.

In conclusion, There is no short cut to learning English. Persistence isthe major secrets of success. If you want use English as your native language, don't ever give up trying to achieve your goal. If we are prepared to work hard at it, we will be successful in the end

Describe the biggest challenge in your life

The biggest challenge in my life is to get through my SPM examination with good grades. Little did I know that the form five Sijil Pelajaran  Malaysia or SPM examination is so important to me. Ever since I have entered secondary school, I have been repeatedly told  and reminded by my teachers and my family that SPM exam is very important because it is the stepping stone into my career and my future. But as usual, students like me have taken this matter lightly because we cannot see the future yet.

Many students can fairly get through the SPM exam, but how many of us will be able to get through with flying colours is another question. Why is it so important to do well at SPM level? It is simply because it is a gateway to further education and higher education. Strange enough SPM qualification itself does carry weight. A person with SPM qualification only get to be employed as a clerk and may be paid a salary of  RM500.00 at the most. But having a good SPM certificate can ensure many other perks.

Students with good grades are often offered scholarships to further studies in local or foreign institutions of  higher learning. This incentive will be a great motivation to me as I do not have to burden my parents unnecessarily.  Moreover, those with good grades are also exempted from sitting for foundation courses in some programmes. This is good because I can save cost and time in pursuing my ambition that is to be a bio-technologist.

Those students who do well in SPM are also given priority to get into Form Six or the pre-university classes which are conducted in some schools. The cost is low and affordable for students and parents. Those who want to do their pre-university in a private college because  their SPM results are not good enough to be absorbed into government schools, have to pay higher fees.   With an excellent SPM result, students can also opt to do their A levels which could take them for an oversea education in countries like the United Kingdom, Australia or even in the United States of America. These countries have excellent tertiary educational programmes which uses the SPM results as their yardstick to take in Malaysian students.
Therefore I think the biggest hurdle in my life is the SPM. It is the deciding factor that makes or breaks my future and career. So my advice to all my comrades out there, take the challenge and excel in your studies

Junk food
Junk food comes in many colours, flavours and types of packaging. Most of it contains very little nutrition. Some are in the form of drinks and others in the form of food and snacks. The drinks are usually colorful and contain a lot of sugar. These drinks can cause diabetes and hyperactivity. Many school kids arc addicted to these drinks and this has become a big problem to our health care system.
Burgers and fries are another form of junk food that has caught on here. They originate from western countries where the lifestyles need fast and convenient food that is usually fried and coated in sauces. These types of food, which include fried chicken and beef usually have high salt content. This paired with sweet colas is a recipe for disaster. They can lead to obesity and heart disease.
Other forms of junk food are preserved fruits. They usually come from China and arc known to contain preservatives, artificial colouring and lots of salt or sugar. These preserved snacks are linked to allergies and cancer. Some food colouring can cause asthma.
Almost all junk food is linked to obesity as it is high in carbohydrate. When we mention junk food, the doughnut is one famous example. They are usually coated, glazed and covered in chocolate, sugar and all sorts of unhealthy colourful toppings. They are not cheap either. So it is an expensive way to diabetes and obesity.
Another worrying example of junk food that is widely available is candy. Candies of all colours and shapes, flavours and wrappings are found almost everywhere. They are usually cheap and sold in places where there are children and schools. These candies arc found to contain banned substances such as flavouring and colouring. Most are made from sugar and starch. Some have been banned by the Ministry of Health.
In conclusion, we must educate the public of this huge threat to our health. The younger generation must be informed of the danger and laws must be formulated to lessen the damage it causes.

My favourite teacher
Watching Puan Yap Siew Leng  get into her car is educational; and watching her get out of it is even more so. Mrs Yap , the teacher of Art Class, weighs more than a 100 kg and her car is a new Mini Cooper.  At first sight one would think that it would be impossible for her to get in; but she does so with amazing agility and grace. No sooner does she get out of the car when we see a flock of school children running to greet her as if she were a film star. She will then make her entry into her classroom like a VIP on a visit.
As she walks she answers the various questions thrown at her from her young companions. Most of them are students from her present class, but some are her old students. They just happened to be around when Mr s Yap arrived and they could not resist running to her.
Mrs Yap is  one of the most popular teacher in the school and has been teaching there since its founding in 2002. She has been teaching Secondary 4 and 5 for all these years and has taught thousands of students. Among the students she has taught are several top civil servants, doctors, lawyers and of course teachers. In spite of all her achievements, what makes Mrs Yap  my favourite teacher, and the favourite teacher to many others too, is the fact that she really cares. She cares about all of us equally. She does more than just teach us.
She knows all her students and ex-students by name and delves into all our personal lives. She can tell with a look that we are unhappy about something. She will then take us aside and talk. She will get to the root of the problem, even seeing the principal or our parents if need be. She will not stop until the problem, whatever it is, is solved and she does it in all sincerity — without expecting anything in return. Is there any wonder then that we all love her?

Coping with Stress
The phenomenon of students under pressure is evident from the behaviour of those students affected. I am a student and I know when my friends are under pressure. Some of those active ones will suddenly turn passive. Some will become too quiet while some tend to get angry fast.
There are many ways one can get rid of stress. Firstly, student, especially teenagers, must go for regular exercise. A brisk walk in the park would release a lot of tension. Students should play football, hockey, basketball and badminton to reduce stress.Exercise is also said to relax the body muscles and keep you calm. Students must have hobbies such as reading, collecting stamps, fishing or listening to music of your choice. These leisure activities help keep students free from school-related stress.
Therefore, students should plan a time-table. They can also work in groups to solve some of their academic problems. Besides making friends and discussing certain issues, group discussions can help improve study skills. One of these is the ability to make a check-list of all the activities planned and carried out. This in turn will make studying more effective and avoid unnecessary pressure.
Students should also have balanced meals and enough sleep. These are said to be basic to healthy lives. Students, especially those in examination classes, must sleep and eat well because a healthy body creates a healthy mind. However, the process of going to sleep can sometimes be difficult. Hence, it is necessary to seek advice from those whom we trust and love. Counsellors in school are helpful but you can always talk to your family first.

However, if nothing works, there is a need to seek treatment from the relevant authorities. You may be surprised but a friend of mine said that screaming at the mountains and laughing your heart out can take away stress.

IF I WERE A MILLIONAIRE
If I were a millionaire, then my life would take a dramatic turn from what it is now. I would adopt the lifestyle of the rich and famous.
The first thing that I would do, if I were a millionaire, is to help my parents. My parents are poor and live in a small house. It would be a dream come true if I could buy them a bigger, better and more spacious house. They would also be able to live a life of luxury, as I would be able to hire servants to help my mother with her domestic chores. My father would finally get his well-earned break. He has been selling vegetables in the market all his life and has worked hard. If I become a millionaire, I would ask him to stop working, as he is old and needs to rest. I would not want him to die in harness.
Money is definitely a boon and can be a friend. My life would change tooI would finally be able to afford to buy better clothes and would even be able to afford some designer labels like Gucci or Channel. Furthermore, I would no longer be seen riding my motorcycle, as I would be driving a fancy car. To maintain this image would mean that I would not be able to socialize with some of my friends at the teh tarik stall. I would now have to dine at the best restaurant in town and rub shoulders with only very special people.
With more money, I would definitely be able to go on holidays and see the rest of the world. I would finally be able to fulfil a long cherished dream of helping the poor. I would be able to donate to charitable organisations, not only in Malaysia but also in other countries.
Being a millionaire definitely means having more fun. It also means having a better life and seeing many of my dreams come true. Wealth and riches may not be a bad thing, as it would definitely make me a better person.

Every Household Should Carry Out Recycling

The planet Earth is a gift. The sources are large in quantities and free of charge. The only payment it ever needed was to care and conserve it. How? One of the ways is by recycling, especially in every household.

According to a survey, every household creates tons of garbage every year. Most of the junks are surprisingly recyclable such as flyers, kids’ exam papers, used notebooks, and tin cans. This not only creates problem for garbage disposal, it is also a waste. That’s why, recycling at home is crucial and can be very easy to carry out.

Our Environmental Activists have spread the words regarding recycling and I will share with you the easiest way to do it which is, sorting out the items accordingly. Prepare boxes for papers to put used papers, flyers, books, magazines, and so on. Also prepare boxes for tin cans, plastics, and glasses. It’s as easy as ABC so all you need to do now is just do it!

When boxes of recyclables began piling up at home, continue to deliver them to the recycling center. My school is lucky to have recycling dumpster. Instead of the teachers throwing all the past years reports and papers, they can just put them in the said dumpster then the people in charge will take them away.

I hope my humble essay will be able to encourage you and your family to start recycling at home. Rome was not built in a day, so as our attitude towards helping to conserve the environment. One box of recyclables at a time can make a big change for our future generations.

The Importance of Studying English

It is a big concerned for teenagers nowadays as they are unaware of the importance of English language as they tend to ignore to learn the language. Students’ attitude towards the language is also crucial to make sure that these teenagers can face the future world better by learning English language as it is an international language.

First and foremost, English will definitely help you a lot when you want to further studies. Almost all books at university are written in English in all subjects. At least some of the people you meet on your travels in other countries can understand English. The language is certainly practical when you are lost in your trip. Communication problem will not happen if you can converse well in English. Inevitably, English is one of the languages used in any airport in the world in making announcement. Knowing English well, thereforemake travelling overseas easier.

Besides all these, entertainment is one of the major advantages you will experience if you good in English. You will enjoy television’s best programmes. We must admit that many of the best programmes are produced by the Americans and British companies. High self confidence influenced by the programmes will indirect inculcate in yourself when you are fluent in the language. Quality time is worthily spent if you understand and enjoy the programmes.

Based from all the above elaboration, I hope that students will see the importance and realise how importance the language is for their own future. Although it is a second language in our country, it is now a main language all over the world.

How to Lead a Healthy Lifestyle

From my recent observation, many students are not taking proper care of their health. They have to cope with such things like lessons, extra-curricular activities and social events. They tend to forget about their health in order to accomplish everything within a short span of time. This  will eventually take its toll on the students themselves. Hence, I would like to share some tips on how to lead a healthy lifestyle.

First of all, you have to practise personal hygiene. For example, wash your hands frequently especially before or after handling food and also brush your teeth twice a day. Keeping yourself clean helps prevent the spreading of bacteria. Another way is you have to take balanced meals. Your bodies need sufficient nutrition to sustain your activities. You should avoid eating junk food and fried food as they are unhealthy.

Apart from thatyou need to drink a lot of water. It is advisable to drink at least eight glasses of water. This can prevent dehydration in your body. You should also get adequate sleep which is seven to eight hours a day. Having a proper rest and sufficient sleep are important so that you can wake up energized the next day.

Next, you should have regular exercise. You can do aerobics or just plain walking and jogging. Set aside at least three times a week to exercise. This activity will keep you fit and build your stamina at the same time.

Last but not least, share your problems with others. do not keep your problems to yourself as it will lead to stress. You can talk to your friend or school counselor or whoever you are comfortable with.

These are a few tips on how to live a healthy lifestyle. Life is a precious gift from God and therefore it is your responsibility to take care of your own well-being. You have to get your priorities right before you become the victim of your own carelessness. After all, prevention is better that cure.

How To Beautify Our School

A clean and beautiful school is very important. This is to ensure that teaching and learning will take place. Students can relax and enjoy the activities carried out in school. They can also feel comfortable with the clean and beautiful environment. There are many ways to beautify our school.

First of all, we have to clean the classrooms by sweeping and mopping the floor. We should also clean the dust on the window panes. We can use a feather duster or a wet cloth to clean the windows. To  make sure that everyone takes part in cleaning the class, we should prepare a duty roster. This is because we can divide the jobs equally.

Secondly, we should also beautify our class. All the chairs and desks should be arranged properly so that our class looks neat and tidy. A reading corner with variety of reading materials will be very useful. If we have extra fund, we can paint the walls of our class. This will make our class more cheerful and conducive.

We should also keep our school compound clean. We must clear the clogged drains so that the water can flow smoothly and there will be no unpleasant smell. We can also beautify our school by painting murals on the wall and decorate the notice boards with information about school or cocurricular activities.

Planting flowers  and herbal plants can make our school environment fresh and beautiful. Motivational phrases and slogans around the school compound can create positive atmosphere thus encourage learning.

Finally, we should encourage everyone to keep the school clean and beautiful. We should all take part and be responsible in keeping our school clean and beautiful.

Friendship

Friendship is one of the most precious gifts of life. A person who has true friends in life is lucky enough Friendship makes life thrilling. It makes life sweet and pleasant experience. Friendship is indeed, an asset in life. It can lead us to success or to doom. It all depends on how we choose our friends.

A friend should always be caring towards you. He or she should take interest in your problems no matter how big or petty your problem may be. A friend should be able to sit beside you and encourage you to keep your chin up even when everyone else is against you. A friend’s empathy and lovingness will also replenish your worn-out soul and will make you realize how important a friend really is.

Apart from that, a friend should be an honest person. An honest friend will dissipate any worries that he or she is lying towards you. A friend’s honesty will enable you to trust his or she’s opinion when it comes to telling you the truth about yourself. For example, an honest friend will remand you on your declining grades and will ask you to work harder while a dishonest friend will see it with a blind eye. Therefore, an overall improvement in yourself will be noticeable if you have an honest friend.

Besides thata friend must also be able to humour you. Humour plays a quint  essential role in making your day more lively and enjoyable. Friends who pull your leg and mess about will indefinitely make life seem so much better. As they say, laughter is the best medicine and a little levity on rainy days is always welcomed.

In conclusion, friends are people we spend most of our time with. Thus, we have to be selective when it comes to choosing our friends.

The Night Market  - Tanah Merah Kelantan

One of the most interesting places in Tanah Merah Malaysia is the night market. You may visit and experience the night market yourselves. Both locals and foreigners agree that the night market is the most common feature in the local society.

The night market ata Tanah Merah begins when the vendors arrive in the late afternoon. More and more goods laden vans arrive to begin a brisk day of business. Most of the vendors busily set out to set up their stalls respectively in order to get ready for a brisk day of business.

The sun gradually sets and the night market picks up momentum. More cars and vans are arriving. By now, the stalls are neatly and strategically arranged to entice their customers. There is an   assortment of goods sold ranging from food, toys and clothes, to name a few. A variety of goods is sold at low prices.

The night market is known as a haven by local ‘gourmets’ who can enjoy various kinds of mouth-watering local cuisine. Still more people arrive, they come from all walks of life, mingling freely and harmoniously. Crowds are walking up and down in an endless stream. Some of them are stopping by the stalls and haggling before making purchases. Little children tag along, amused and excited. Sprinklings of tourists join in to experience the lifestyle of typical Malaysian folks.

When night falls, lighted lamps brighten up the place, they add gaiety to this atmosphere, and it is like a funfair. The night wears on and the traffic of people recedes. Vendors get a chance to rest their weary legs besides bantering with each other.

By 10.00 pm, all the stalls call it a day. The vendors pack up and close the van doors. One by one, they leave, leaving behind pieces of papers, plastic bags and discarded boxes. It is an eyesore! Finally, the night market disappears. The place becomes quite and still once more.
